This is Mario D’Antonio. He currently plays in the Seniors Division and is also a Boy Scout. For his Boy Scout Eagle Project Mario identified the Little League as his beneficiary of choice. “I’ve played here since I was eight years old. Little League has always been a part of my life.” Mario saw potential for his project in his neighbor’s unused and deteriorating place set. With the help of other Scouts and friends, over a 2 month period Mario refurbished the playset. Mario estimates over 200 hours of work were involved. “Quarantine gave me the time to get this done,” said a Mario, “I can’t wait to see the kids use this.”
