Information Officer
Maintain the league database for registrations, contact information & player ratings. Create reports for Little League International. Create draft reports for player draft nights. Assign players to teams as decided by draft. Create Rosters for coaches after draft. Create and share the Pitch Count spreadsheet in Google Sheets with Player agents and Website Administrator to post on the website.
Player Agents (3 openings)
This position is a partial year position including board meetings January-July and regularly scheduled park police duty May-July. Player Agents cannot also be coaches. These board members work directly with coaches/managers. They act as a liaison between the Board and Coaches/Families for their division. Assistance is provided by the VP of Baseball or Softball, respectively, for any question or concern you cannot answer. Additional events where attendance is required include (but are not limited to) player evaluations, draft board setup, draft nights, parent meeting, equipment & uniform distribution, coach meetings & trophy presentations at tournament time.
Umpire Coordinator
This board member works directly with the Umpire-in-Chief to hire & train all umpires. He/she is responsible for maintaining the umpire database & setting the umpire schedule for all games. The Umpire Coordinator will be the first point of contact if there are any issues with how an umpire is treated by a coach or parent.
VP Softball
Perform duties of the President in his/her absence or disability. Adjust/set rules specific to MFLL based on LLI rules & communicate said rules to Player Agents. Coordinate & execute draft night with Player Agents & Coaches.
Work with surrounding communities to coordinate rules & game schedules for interleague program. Works with game scheduler to coordinate schedules for practices, games and end of season tournaments.
